DO NOT use facial cleansing/wet wipes! They are formulated to break down and remove make-up, not clean the skin. We tend to rub too hard as well, which causes further damage. These wipes contain drying chemicals, stripping your skin of its natural oils, affecting the PH balance, causing inflammation and irritation over time. They also leave a film of chemicals over your face, suffocating pores, causing breakouts and blocking your skin products absorbing. If that’s not bad enough, they can aid in skin ageing more quickly. Plus most of them do not biodegrade, which is BAD NEWS for environment.
It only takes 2 minutes to cleanse properly with a foam cleanser like AllSkinMed Purifying Cleansing Foam (£25) This gorgeous foam is soothing, hydrating and PH balances the skin. Just apply two pumps with damp hands, massage all over the face and gently rinse with a warm, wet cloth – which you can rinse out and air dry, replacing every 2 days (just throw in with clothes wash).
